BUAN held two consultative workshops for new qualification and learning programs. The Faculty of Agriculture held the workshop at Travel Lodge, Gaborone while the department of Agricultural and Applied Economics (AAE) held the workshop inhouse. The duo were joined by the Curriculum Development department from the Ministry of Education, the department of Water and Sanitation, Irrigation department from Crop Production, Program Coordinator (Industrial Engineering) from University of Botswana Botswana Examinations Council, other parastatals and the private sector. 

The purpose of these workshops were to present the qualifications and learning programs from the departments, solicit inputs from different stakeholders in order to improve the programs and discuss way forward for future collaborations in research and student attachment.

 

The workshops were very productive as stakeholders gave very valuable inputs.
